This is me.

Hi, I’m Daniel

Designer with 15 years of craft across communication, marketing, and product design — the last 4+ years focused on UX for web and native mobile. I like digging into why people get stuck, working closely with product and engineering as a genuine collaborator, and building things that actually work for real people. Strong visual instincts, solid research habits, and a growing passion for design systems.

My Story

I was born into a graphic designer’s home, and started my design career laying out high school football programs and produce packaging catalogues for my dad’s side hustle. I went on to get my BA in graphic design from Western Kentucky University. After school, I worked at a large church creating graphics for signs, digital slide shows, and a ton of other things. I also was introduced to travel photography, and traveled to multiple countries in Africa to document church mission trips and projects.

Currently I am at Ramsey Solutions, where I started as a graphic designer, and made the switch to product designer. I am currently designing account and transaction experiences in the EveryDollar app.

I'm a product designer that strives to have understanding all sides of the business and the user’s perspective. That makes the outcomes of my work stay balanced and provide solutions that meet the goals of both sides of the equation.. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is my jam, whether it's product managers, developers, or stakeholders, I really love working close with a small group to build products that make people’s lives easier.
